Eating lunch at our Senior Dining Sites encourages socialization which in turn helps promote good mental health.

We have 18 Senior Dining Sites in Winnebago, Boone, Lee, and Ogle counties located in churches, community centers, high rises, senior activity centers and restaurants.

In addition to hot nutritious meals, Senior Dining Sites offer educational and informational opportunities. Participants have the option of joining in these activities or they can just sit back and enjoy the fellowship and good food.

Reservations for lunch are required and must be made the day before.  To make a reservation, participants must call the site of their choice before 9:30 a.m., or call Lifescape Community Services at 963-1609.  Seniors are asked to make a confidential donation ($3.00 is suggested) for their meal in a small envelope located at each site. No qualified person, however, is denied service because of their inability to pay.

"Senior Breakfast at Logli"

The Logli Supermarket locations at 6410 E. State in Rockford and on Harlem Road in Loves Park have teamed up with Lifescape Community Services to offer something new and different in senior dining sites!

Called “Senior Breakfast at Logli”, the restaurants inside the supermarkets are Lifescape’s latest senior dining sites in its four county service area, serving a hot nutritious breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 Monday through Friday.  What makes these locations unique is the majority of our dining sites are in senior centers, churches or senior high rises; not grocery stores!

By teaming with Logli, Lifescape is offering an opportunity to those active older adults, who not only want a great breakfast, but to meet their friends and get a little grocery shopping in as well!

Seniors 60 and older, along with their spouses, will be able to choose from six separate breakfast menus for a $2.50 donation. No reservations are required.

Studies have linked healthy breakfasts with less chronic disease, increased longevity and better health. Starting each day with a good breakfast boosts energy, increases attention span, and provides a heightened sense of well-being.
