Brightside Adult Day Service has changed its name!
We are now: Lifescape Adult Day Program
The name may have changed, but be assured that we will continue to provide the same high quality of care to your loved ones as we currently do!
We are also excited to announce that we are moving to 1330 S. Alpine Rd. This move will provide the Center with additional space for more individualized programming, an opportunity to provide additional services, i.e. rehab in the future, and improved safety to not only your loved one, but to other Seniors as well. We will continue to provide bus transportation to our new center.
Our tentative date for beginning operations at our new center is February 1, 2016, barring any unforeseen construction issues.

Brightside Adult Day Service belongs to a very unique group of services. Currently, there are 4,000 Adult Day Centers in the country, and Rockford is fortunate to have one of the first in both Illinois and the U.S. We have been helping older adults, their families, and caregivers meet the challenges of aging since 1973.
Brightside Adult Day Service provides safe, therapeutic daytime care for seniors as well as persons with disabilities under the age of 60. The goal is to promote a community based program designed to meet the needs of functionally impaired adults in a structured, comprehensive program providing health and social services in addition to therapeutic activities. Brightside's service allows caregivers to continue with employment and daily living routines while their loved ones thrive in a stimulating, caring environment designed to provide multiple opportunities for socialization and remotivation therapy.
Brightside also understands the importance of supporting caregivers as they go about their important task. We offer Caregiver Wellness classes and support groups to help them maintain their mental and physical health.
Brightside offers the following opportunities to its participants:
- Music, exercise, and active programming including theme days, guest entertainment, arts & crafts, games and movies
- Socialization & conversation

- Remotivation therapy
- Medical monitoring including medication administration by a registered nurse
- Qualified, professionally trained staff at a 1 to 6 staff to participant ratio
