Logli Partnership Celebrates Anniversary

LIFESCAPE AND LOGLI CELEBRATE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

2011 marked the first anniversary of a great collaboration between Lifescape and Logli Supermarket. On February 1st, the East State Street location celebrated its very successful year, while Monday, May 2nd, Lifescape and the Loves Park Logli Supermarket will mark the first year anniversary of its very successful nutrition program. Senior Breakfast at Logli is truly unique joint venture which provides a healthy breakfast to area seniors. Seniors 60-plus can find the breakfast they want from a six-item menu for only $2.50. Breakfast is served between 7:30 and 10:00 Monday through Saturday.

Both locations have drawn an average weekly attendance of more than 300 diners. Both Loves Park Store Manager Steve Hevrin and E. State Street Manager Scott Boeke call the program "very successful".

Lifescape Nutrition Services Director Rene Wisdom says the breakfast "is aimed at seniors not ready to go to a senior center, but gives them a reduced price meal that provides the nutrition they require."
